Walking in and around Amsterdam is one of the best ways to get to know the place. Interaction with locals is almost inevitable and therefore so interesting.
The story goes ‘Amsterdammers’ think the country comes to an end with the highway, the Ring, around the city. Supposedly they bring their passport since it feels they go abroad.
